Part of our nature based curriculum has our students outside in all types of weather. Some of our favorite days are exploring outside in the rain and snow. Part of that fun is coming to school dressed in layers and the gear needed to stay warm and dry. We recommend the base layers be Synthetic polyester/polypropylene or wool long underwear (not cotton). What can you do to make your student’s snacks and lunches waste free?

• Pack food in reusable containers
• Use durable and reusable cutlery
• Buy large containers of food to pack into smaller ones
• Put water into refillable bottles with lids that conceal the straws. 
• Using cloth napkins
